Picollator.mobi image-based search engine for cell phones was launched in January 2008.

New functionality combining image and text into a complex query enabling mobile searchers just to upload an image from their phones to start search was added later in March 2008.

27. September Picollator.mobi was announced finalist of the 2008 Mobile Excellence Awards in the category of the Best Innovator.
